When Michael Manwaring came to our studio last year he was looking for a glass that was as white as possible but still translucent. It had to transmit some light from the interior of the building but it also had to reflect the colored LED lights from behind the stainless steel letters.

Michael pointed to a beautiful white crystal bowl across the room on a shelf and said, “That is what we want”. Of course “that” was not possible. His glass needed to be tempered and laminated to meet the code issues of hanging glass 60 feet in the air projecting off the side of the building.

Through months of sampling the many options possible we found the perfect combination of laminate and glass. The mockup panels went up on June 5th to rave reviews and both signs will be finished by July 4th, 2003.
